In this role, you'll define standards, automate where possible, and translate security policies into concrete configurations. You'll address incidents effectively by analyzing, mitigating, documenting, and improving. You'll also actively consult with the team on secure integrations and with clients on risks and practical measures.

At SBA, we’re building a future-proof Security Operations Center (SOC) and are looking for an experienced specialist who understands open-source firewalls (pfSense) intimately and wants to work with us to establish the SOC. Our engineers and developers deliver customized solutions daily; the next step is an SOC that exudes the same quality and pragmatic approach. Not as a separate entity, but fully integrated into our services.

Are you our match made in heaven?

  • Minimaal een afgeronde HBO-opleiding, bij voorkeur in de richting van Informatica, Business IT & Management of Computerwetenschappen, aangevuld met IT-specialisaties;

  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar position;

  • Aantoonbare ervaring met pfSense of vergelijkbare PF-gebaseerde oplossingen;

  • Demonstrable experience with pfSense or similar PF-based solutions;

  • Proficiency in automating configurations (templates, scripting);

  • Analytical skills and hands-on mentality in incident response;

  • Good command of Dutch and English language (spoken and written).
