Standaart Tennis
From the ideal forehand to efficient coaching planning
From tennis wall to pro
Wouter Standaart is the owner of Standaart Tennis, a tennis school operating in the Drechtsteden region, offering training for all ages and levels. His tennis career began at a young age in Sliedrecht, where he spent hours on the court and at the tennis wall. Through the Dutch Junior Team and a national under-18 championship, he entered the professional circuit, where he played full-time until he was 23. He then combined teaching with semi-professional playing until he was 30. After turning 30, he remained active in the sport as a coach and expanded his tennis school into an organization with several full-time tennis coaches.
In addition to regular training sessions, Standaart Tennis also organizes tournaments and sports days for primary schools, aiming to inspire young people to participate in the sport. As the organization grows, so does the need for an efficient and flexible scheduling system.
Building smart solutions together
Wouter experiences the collaboration with SBA as very positive. “They really contribute ideas. They don’t just nod their head, but take a critical look at what works and what can be improved. That, to me, is the hallmark of good collaboration.” By brainstorming together about logic and design, a system has emerged that not only functions well now but is also ready for future growth.
