You might not escape the big ransomware attack on Friday, 12th May. This attack caused loads of contagions all over the world.

The WannaCry ransomware is a hostage software that allows hackers to encrypt your files, leaving you unable to access your files. Once the WannaCry ransomware has encrypted your files, they ask money for the decryption. We highly recommend not to pay because it is very uncertain whether the key will ever be delivered.

However, Microsoft has rolled out an update to protect your system against WannaCry ransomeware. By installing this update, you protect your systems against the WannaCry ransomeware and its alternatives. Of course, this is not a 100% guarantee and attention to such things is still a must.

In SBA we do our best to prevent our customers’ systems from the WannaCry ransomware, so in case it’s needed, we offer the additional checks at the regular rates.
